[Slightly rushed, not properly cleaned up] Leopard-y Bow nails :)I’ve had nooooo time recently, so I haven’t been able to play with my nail art as much as I’d like. But, this week I bought this little metal bow and thought it would look cute on my nail. So, here it is, paired with Barry M colours in a leopard print design.I’ve got a couple of half made sets to be getting on with, so hopefully I will have a few more exciting posts up soon :) But for now, here’s what I’m wearing for my shopping trip today. xx

I’m going to a screening of the Hellraiser films today and to meet some of the film’s cast and crew :) So, I quickly made this nail last night to wear for the fun! It’s based on one of my old Pinhead designs, but more durable, because I will be drinking.. Haha.So excited! :)www.facebook.com/KayleighOCNailArt

My natural nails have finally grown enough to paint things on :) I’ve bitten them for as long as I can remember so have never been able to get them looking like this before! Got a theory that it may have something to do with graduating, no more nail-biting essay deadlines. Haha. So, today they’re blue with polka-dots (both colours are Rio’s nail art pens), and added a little flamingo :) Now I’m off to the pub :) It’s sunnyyy!www.facebook.com/KayleighOCNailArt

TARDIS Flats! Or, as I’m calling them - ‘Doctor Sh-Whos’ ;DThese flats had gold patent toes, and when I bought them I just KNEW I would end up scuffing them up pretty fast. But, when that inevitably happened, I realised I could paint them :) So, that’s what I did. Decided to paint them with a galaxy design and then thought, ‘ah, why not..’ and added a little TARDIS :)New lease of life for my roughed up shoes.. Could say, they have regenerated?.. Ha :)www.facebook.com/KayleighOCNailArt

A Tiny Hobbit Hole :DThis is a nail I made last year to celebrate the release of The Hobbit :) But, I just found this photo I took of it on it’s own, which shows how I’m using it now - As a little ornament. It’s about an inch high and around one and a half inches wide, and looks super cute on my shelf :) Although, now I’m tempted to make it into a necklace or ring.. Hmmm.. I’ll see, haha. Here it is when worn as a nail - http://fav.me/d5o01j5 :)www.facebook.com/KayleighOCNailArtx

Avatar: The Last Airbender nails :)I only started watching The Last Airbender last week and have already reached the series finale (Gonna watch it later, can’t wait). So, I’ve made these nails :) There’s Aang on the thumb, his little 3D glider on the ring finger and some glittery, ‘swooshy’, silver/grey air designs on the other nails. These aren’t peeeerfect, I rushed them a bit, but I’m pleased I got to practice painting faces again (although, still can’t paint real, human faces). Arrgh, which reminds me! How creepy was that Face Stealer?! :/Anyway, I haven’t been posting much lately, sorry about that. Hopefully I can get back on track again - starting with these :) Hope you like them x"My cabbages!"www.facebook.com/KayleighOCNailArt

Just some simple nails (which sort of look like creepy teeth in this photo, ignore that.. Haha). This was my attempt at the one stroke technique which I found pretty much impossible, so probably wont be trying that again. Anyway, not a very good example of one stroke-y painting, but I like how these turned out, I think. Not very exciting but thought I’d post them up anyway :) x

The Cheshire Cat’s tail from Alice in Wonderland :)I made this sooooo long ago and have only just taken a photo to share today :S The colours look a bit off because I took this in bright sunlight (Woo! So glad the weather’s starting to get a bit better now).Anyway, this is just another quick necklace I’ve made :) x

Peter Pan’s Shadow in my Lamp Shade :)

I was supposed to be sorting out all my junk to make the bedroom look more ‘grown up’ when I took a break to do this.. :S Ha!Okay, so, long story short - I was trying to project Peter’s shadow onto the ceiling (like in the film), but that didn’t work (or at least how I was trying to do it), so instead I found that the little cut-out looked nice placed inside the shade like this anyway, so not a completely wasted project after all :DAlso found on Google that I’m not the first person to try and fail at a Peter Pan shadow project and end up with the same idea - http://everythingkikka.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/peter-pans-shadow.html (there’s the link, with more info on how to replicate the look).Anyway, I think I like it :D And I’ll keep it this way at least for a little while, until it’s time to be a grown up (Urrrgh!) xwww.facebook.com/KayleighOCNailArt
