Breaking Bad Nail Art

As I said, I have some newer, *slightly* clearer photos of some of my old sets so I’m gonna be uploading those every now and again :)

Can’t wait to see the final episodes. I think the break’s been going on long enough! >:(

As it’s St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow I thought I’d make some nails to celebrate. Last year I made a Guinness set (http://fav.me/d4syhhx), and this time I’ve gone with a 3D pot of gold and little rainbow-cuticle-bits :)

Something weird and fun I made last night - A dragon’s claw nail :)

I might incorporate this as part of a new set but thought I’d share it today because I’m not sure what to do with it yet. Maybe a Game of Thrones/Daenerys Targaryen theme? I’ll see :) xx

The Little Mermaid nails :) Well, not exaaaaactly spot on, but hopefully Ariel-esque.

The blue glittery polishes I started with felt very ‘Under the Sea’, so I decided to make the set mermaid themed :) At first I tried to paint a silhouette of a mermaid but couldn’t get those right, so then thought I might as well try and paint Ariel’s face instead.

Too many clear top coats created bubbles :( But, I don’t mind too much with these, it kinda goes with the theme so I’ll pretend it was on purpose.. Haha :) xx

More Pony nails :) However, this time I have tried something different and made aspects of this set 3D!

There’s Fluttershy on my thumb with her cutie mark on my ring finger, and a gradient and abstract nail art on the other nails. I was going for an overall, classic Japanese tone with this set, so perhaps it would be more appropriate to call these ‘Fluttershy-inspired’?

I am really pleased with how they have turned out! And they were so fun to make, I can’t wait to wear them :)

I made this one on a whim, due to having left over material after making a 3D Fluttershy nail art set and still being in a Pony mood :)

I’ll hopefully upload my new Fluttershy nails tomorrow, keep an eye out, I hope you’ll like them! xx

‘Up’ nails - Take Two!

I made a set of Up inspired nails last April but I never really liked the photo or the ‘sky’ nails. So, here’s an updated version of the set, with a clearer photo and a lighter ‘sky’. I have newer photos of other older sets too but don’t want to bombard everyone with those so I might just upload one every few weeks as well as my new sets.

Hope this update seems like an improvement :) xx

I’ve been marathoning South Park recently, so while I was watching last night I made these Towelie nails XD These are just some quick fun ones as I’m working on a few fiddly sets at the moment :)

3D Morph and polka dots :)

I used to LOVE Morph when I was younger, I wore the tapes out. And I wanted to live in a wooden box.

Just been watching a few of The Amazing Adventures of Morph on YouTube and now I can’t stop humming the tune. Here’s the first one :) xx

Marilyn Monroe nails for LittleBlackDress.co.uk!

I painted a stencilised version of Marilyn with a sexy red pout over a gold base coat for a different approach to Valentine’s Day nails. I figured that hearts and cupids are not for everyone, and some women may prefer an understated nod to the occasion without going for the classic, lovey-dovey symbols. I chose Marilyn as she exudes sex appeal and has become an icon of glamour and seduction, so I think she suits a Valentine’s Day theme quite nicely :)

I’ll be graduating from University tomorrow (Woo!) so I’ve made these celebratory nails :)

I didn’t want them to be all sensible and boring so I painted a leopard print design (plus glitter) in my Uni’s colours and added a tiny mortarboard and degree onto my ring finger, haha.

To be honest, I’m not really looking forward to the ceremony that much, just the partying afterwards.. XD

My friend, Bradley, has been asking me for aaaaggggeees to have a go at some Derpy Hooves (from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) nails, so here they are - finally ;)

Derpy’s on the thumb, with her cutie mark on my little finger and her wing on my middle finger. Then I added some sparkles on the other nails :)

Snow Leopard nails :)

I have been pretty busy lately so I haven’t had much time to play with my nails :( But, here’s a simple design I made last night using Rio’s nail art pens and holographic foil.

Thought it might be a fun idea to stick my hand into the snow to take the photo… Until I did it, haha.

Anyway, I will get back on track with new designs this week. But for now, here are some nails to suit the weather :) xx
